They're not a great way to learn a language unless they speak in insanely simplistic sentences. Man, that's the first time I've heard anyone say that.
Plus they're a great way to learn a language over time without really putting in any effort. You'll glance at them so quickly that your brain doesn't even process looking at them (unless you notice something blatantly wrong with them). Slow reader or something? Subs are something that once you get used to, they're like air. If able I will always put my money where my mouth is and vote with my wallet.īroad-sweeping generalizations should be avoided. Generally I do prefer the subs and not only do I purchase anime I also purchase merchandise.
Some of them were annoying and some of them lost the emotion and subtleties in the voice inflections. Over time I have heard many terrible dubs.
In the end I say the dub wins this one because. I liked them dearly.įor this game I felt the dubs were decently done, I have played with both audio (and I understand the battle chatter) and can say they both have their good points.
I doubt I can look at Eleanor or Largo in any other way than with the English Dubs they were given. Now anyone who thinks that isn't good obviously just hates the English Language. People who say otherwise are just haters. I thought the english dubs were quite wonderful on the game personally, in fact they are wonderful to a point I prefer it almost hands down. I doubt they even "BUY" anime to insure better quality productions either. Originally posted by Kameraden:English "Dub" haters the Bane of the Anime Community.
